To enable them to work on the rails, the rigs are fitted with special, self-propelled hydraulic train wheels. Thanks to its compact size, the rail piling rig works completely within the profile of the rail track, allowing train traffic along adjoining tracks to pass safely.
The VDH-PV15 has been specially developed to carry out piling work around the track. A compact, multifunctional piling machine that can be used both on and off the track. The VDH-PV15 consists of a bare base frame that is completely new. The entire equipment is specially designed and manufactured by us for work around the track.
In addition to selling equipment, Van den Heuvel (VDH) is perfectly capable of designing and building
high-quality machines. Specially for those projects where foundation work has to be carried out on and
around the rails, VDH developed the PV335. The machine has more capacity, a heavier hammer and a
longer reach than the VDH-PV15.
