Case: Foundation machine for rails

For the company Aarsleff from Denmark, Van den Heuvel has designed and built a new compact multifunctional piling machine with which poles can be driven from the track. The machine can also be used for vibratory and drilling work. This foundation machine for on-track is fully adapted to the wishes of the customer.

Special, self-driven hydraulic track wheels are mounted under the machine, allowing the machine to perform foundation work from the track. Due to its compact size, the machine remains completely within the profile of the railway line. The train traffic on the adjacent tracks is not affected by the work in this way. Thanks to the 600mm wide tracks, the piling machine can also be used next to the track.

Aarsleff is a leading Danish company in tenders. The Aarsleff group builds and maintains infrastructures and building constructions. Their expertise lies in the development, planning and implementation of large-scale projects.
